Lego World...

My brother got this Star Wars lego's set. It's one of those things that you have to put together via looking at pictures. My mom finds it entertaining. But I"m not so sure about it. It took them 2 days to put this space ship together. It makes it even better, because he has the imagination that goes right along with creating things, which is a good thing. He is the type of kid that can take one of those little lego men and play with it for hours. He is perfectly content.

Christmas with my Family

It has always been a tradition in my family to all get together on Christmas Eve and open presents from the family. We had Nachos and loads of fun. I love it when our family gets together, we always have so much fun. With me being gone for college it was really nice just to be with the whole family. I had so much fun watching my brothers and 2 cousins, 3 and almost 1, open presents. They are so cute.

This is my brothers and my dad building a Lego thing. My little brother, Alex loves lego's. That's really all he got for Christmas was Lego's. :)

This is my dad and I. He is being really goofy in this picture. Not really sure what he's doing. I think he is trying to smile. LOL

My papa over heard me talking about needing a scarf and one of those face mask things for Chicago. So he got me both for Christmas. It was really sweet!

This is my Uncle Matt and Jack. Jack is so cute, and he loves fire works.

Our wonderful Tree and all the presents!

Sorry

Well,  You all will have to wait on the pics.  Sorry…   L  Post them as soon as I can.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!!!

Hey everyone!!!

I hope everyone is doing amazing!  I know I am.  Jesus loves me!  College is going great, and it’s very cold.  A couple weekends ago out on my bus route there was enough snow to make a snow angel. (see pic below)  It was fun.  Gotta love the snow.  J  Christmas break begins Friday after chapel.  I hope everyone has an amazing Christmas!  Friday night there was a college wide activity to Navy Pier.  I had a blast.  I was able to go Ice Skating and go into the Apple Store.  (For those non-computer geeks, it’s the Mac-Apple Store)  I was happy, I could have stayed in there for hours but my friends wouldn’t let me…L  It was sad.  Well, I got to go.  Here are some recent pics.  Enjoy!  And don’t forget Jesus is the reason for the season!!!!!

Safe and Sound

I just wanted to let everyone know that I made it back to Crown Point safe and sound.  It was a long trip back.  My plane was delayed, so it made for a crazy day.

I’m glad to be back in my normal routine.  Christmas break is just around the corner, so that’s something to look forward too.  Then before I know it my first semester of college will be over.

Wow!  That’s totally crazy!  I will be posting pictures of the snow soon.  You gotta love that snow…LOL  J It’s going to make for a fun day visiting my bus kids in Chicago on Saturday.  Florida girls don’t do good in the cold.

I’m glad I like the cold, at least that helps a little…LOL  Well, gotta go.  Remember to smile, you never know who is having a bad day!!!

Not sure on the days.. :/

LOL...Well, yesterday we went to church. It was really good. I really enjoyed it. I can't wait to be on my new bus route. I believe there is no better way to come to church then coming on a church bus. So, I'm excited for that.

Today we went to the Musuem of Science and Industry. It was the best one out of all of them. I took pics, but I'm not going to try to load them on here. Again, this internet connection is junky.

I move into my dorm tomorrow at Hyles-Anderson College. I can't wait!!!!! And tomorrow night there is a rodeo that we all have to go to. That's going to be lots of fun! So, I'm excited. The nervousness hasn't hit yet. I have been waiting for this for as long as I can remember, so I think I have pretty much prepared my self.

Not sure when I'm going to get back to post an update. So just check every once in a while. Not sure when I will be able to get on the internet and for how long, or even if it costs something. So we will just have to wait and see.

Day 6 -- Shedd Aquarioum and Field Museum

We went to see the fishes and the field Museum. It was fun, but tiring. A lot of walking. We at my favorite restaurant here: Culver's! I love that place. It is the best! My mom and I went shopping at Burlington Coat Factory. I found 2 really really cute skirts.

We will be going to First Baptist Church of Hammond, In. tomorrow morning. I'm very excited! This will be the first time my family has been to the church. I'm excited to see them walk into that ginormous auditorium!

Day 5 -- Navy Pier, Adler Museum, and Sears Tower

Fun day. We went to the Navy Pier. Again you will see a lot of pics. I'm going in order. There was a lot of pretty flowers at Navy Pier, so you will see some of those. There was also a little show, so I will show you that.

(The caption to the pictures are now above them!)

~Navy Pier Pics~

These birds are everywhere!

I really thought these flags were very pretty.

This is my brothers and I in front of a real anchor. I read about it, but don't rememeber what all it said.

This is the skyline from the pier.

I didn't want to bore you with flowers, but this one was interesting.

Sorry this one is so dark, but this is the little show that was going on inside. It was cute from the part that we saw.

~Adler Musuem~

This musuem was all about space and things like that. Not much pics of the inside, but I do have a really good pics of my mom, dad and brothers with the skyline behind them.

~Sears Tower~

There are bunches of pics here just of the city off of the sky deck. I'm not going to try to explain them. Just going to post several. Hope you all have enjoyed my day!
